من هو اله مثلك غافر الاثم وصافح عن الذنب لبقية ميراثه. لا يحفظ الي الأبد غضبه فانه يسر بالرأفة. يعود يرحمنا يدوس آثامنا وتُطرح في البحر جميع خطاياهم. مي 7: 18، 19
Who is a God like You, Pardoning iniquity and passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in mercy. He will again have compassion on us, and will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea. (Mic. 7: 18, 19)
الذين يرجعون عن شرهم ويعيشون بالبر في الروح يطيرون إلى أعلى ويسرون إرادة الله، أما الذين لا يعرفون الله ولا يعبدونه فيكونون كالطيور التي لها أجنحة لكنها عاجزة عن الطيران فلا تحلق في الإلهيات العالية. القديس ثاوفيلس الأنطاكي
Those who forsake their wickedness, and live with righteousness in spirit, fly upward and please the will of God, but those who do not worship God nor know Him, would be like some sort of birds, who, although they posses wings, yet they are unable to fly, thus they do not soar up in exalted godliness. St. Theopheles of Antioch
