فقام وجاء الي أبيه. واذ كان لم يزل بعيدا رآه ابوه فتحنن وركض ووقع علي عنقه وقبله. لو15: 20

اللهم، أود ان اذكر رحمتك علي واعترف بها شاكرا لك. لتخترق رحمتك عظامي فتهتف: "من مثلك، يا رب، من مثلك"؟.... أيها الآب الرحيم ، تفرح بتوبة خاطيء اكثر من ثبات تسعة وتسعين في البرارة. القديس اغسطينوس
O my God, let me remember with gratitude and confess to thee thy mercies toward me. Let my bones be bathed in thy love, and let them say: “Lord, who is like unto thee? .... O most merciful Father, “dost rejoice more over one that repents than over ninety and nine just persons that need no repentance.” (St. Augustin))
