انما هو صخرتي وخلاصي ملجإي فلا اتزعزع. مز 62: 6
He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be moved. (Ps. 62: 6)
لا يوجد ما يرهب ذاك الذي يخاف الله، وإنما تحل كل المخاوف على الآخرين. فعندما يتخلص إنسان من أهوائه، ويحسب كل الأمور الحاضرة كظلٍ، أي شيء يكون مخيفًا بالنسبة له؟ ممن يخاف؟ إلى من يحتاج أن يتوسل؟ لنهرب إلي هذه الصخرة (المسيح) التي لا يمكن أن تهتز.
القديس يوحنا ذهبي الفم
There is nothing dreadful to him that fears God; but all that is dreadful is for others. For when a man is delivered from his passions, and regards all present things as a shadow, say, from whom shall he suffer anything dreadful? Whom shall he have to fear? Whom shall he need plead to? Let us flee to this Rock which cannot be shaken.
